An induction-compatible 8-quart stockpot with a wide base for sautéing before soup or stew preparation and a glass lid for covered cooking.
Start onions or other ingredients in the broad base, then build a soup or stew in the same pot. The 8-quart capacity gives larger liquid-based recipes their own vessel, while the glass lid lets you check progress without immediately uncovering the food. This package contains the pot and lid, with no straining insert to store.
The stainless base makes this round HA1 Expert pot compatible with induction. Compare its 15-inch overall span with your hob and sink, especially if several pans will share the stove. Use moderate heat for sautéing, and keep covered oven recipes within the lid’s lower 350°F rating; the nonstick surface also needs utensils that protect it.
Combine the initial sauté and later liquid-cooking stages.
The glass lid is useful when monitoring a soup or stew.
