The timer is not a scale: the amount dispensed varies with beans and grind setting. Bodum limits a run to 20 seconds and requires five minutes of cooling afterward, which matters if you plan several batches. Unplug before brushing the grinding ring. Only the grounds container and its lid are dishwasher safe; wipe the hopper and housing.
