Product description

The Custom Loaf appeals to someone who wants an automatic bread-making sequence but still wants to adjust it. Select an appropriate recipe and program, measure ingredients carefully, and let the machine manage its kneading, rising and baking stages. The dispenser handles suitable mix-ins, while custom settings make room for a recipe you want to refine over several bakes. The collapsible paddle reduces its profile before baking, although you must still check for it before slicing the loaf.

Choose size by the recipe as well as by appetite. Breville says the nominal loaf weights are guides: ingredients affect the finished weight and shape, and the smallest quantities may not fill this pan as evenly. Not every program offers all four sizes; gluten-free programs allow the two larger settings. That makes the machine more flexible than a single-size bread maker, but it does not remove the need to use a recipe designed for the chosen program and quantity.
