A programmable glass-carafe brewer with a small-batch setting and separate controls for coffee strength and warming-plate heat.
The DCC-3200BKSNAS suits a household that wants a pot ready at a predictable time and enough capacity to share. Fill it with the amount of water you intend to brew, add ground coffee and set the schedule. The 1–4-cup button adapts the brewing process for a smaller batch; it does not measure out that amount from a full tank. Regular and Bold settings offer a straightforward way to adjust the brew without changing machines.
Its glass carafe sits on a heated plate, with a separate Carafe Temp button for keeping brewed coffee at your preferred warmth. That setting changes the plate, so it should not be read as a brewing-temperature adjustment. The reusable filter avoids a paper filter for each pot, although Cuisinart notes that fine grounds can pass through it. If you prefer paper, use the specified number 4 filter on its own and leave the gold-tone filter out.
The large carafe and small-batch mode accommodate both a shared breakfast and a quieter morning.
The ready tone can be silenced, and the warming duration can be set around when you finish the pot.
