Product description
The RIO 6-Quart is a practical option for a cook who wants to prepare several kinds of meals in one vessel. Sauté ingredients before a pressure-cooked stew, make rice alongside another dish, or use the slow-cook setting when the schedule allows.
Choose it around the meals you actually cook. The useful capacity changes with the ingredients: rice and beans need room to expand. Pressure cooking also includes time to heat and release steam, so leave more time than the countdown alone suggests.

Before you buy
- For pressure cooking, stay below the two-thirds limit or half-full for expanding foods. Follow the recipe and manual for liquid and steam release.
Care & maintenance
- Unplug and cool before cleaning. The inner pot is dishwasher safe; follow the manual for removing and washing lid components.
- Clean the steam-release parts and sealing ring, empty the condensation collector and wipe the base with a barely damp cloth. Keep the base out of water.
