Product description

The Duo Mini fits a kitchen where a small pot is often the useful pot. It can prepare a side dish while another appliance handles the main meal, or take a modest recipe through sautéing and a later cooking stage in the same inner pot. Its pressure, rice and slow-cook functions give that smaller space several roles, which is useful when you do not routinely need a large batch.

Choose the size around the recipes you cook, not a promised number of servings. Three quarts is nominal pot volume, and pressure-cooking recipes need room above the ingredients. Plan the heating and pressure-release stages into the meal schedule as well as the selected cooking time. Follow Instant Pot’s recipe-specific release method, particularly for expanding, thick or starchy foods, and use the markings and instructions supplied with your unit.

  • Do not quick-release expanding, thick, fatty or high-starch foods; follow the supplied recipe and manual.

Care & maintenance

  • The inner pot is dishwasher safe; follow the manual for top-rack cleaning of the lid, rack and removable lid parts.
  • Wipe the base with a barely damp cloth and let all parts dry before reassembly.
