11178600 | Bidirectional blade | Dishwasher safe

Load a garlic clove into the chamber and move the food holder across the blade to prepare thin slices for cooking.
This OXO tool is for recipes that call for sliced garlic rather than crushed garlic. A clove goes into the chamber, and the holder moves across the blade to produce thin pieces. That format is useful when you want garlic slices for a pan sauce, vegetable dish or oil-based preparation.
Decide how you usually prepare garlic before adding another tool to the drawer. A slicer will not replace a press when you want crushed garlic, or a knife when you need larger chopped pieces. Use the holder throughout the task and follow the supplied instructions around the sharp blade.
The chamber and holder provide a dedicated arrangement for slicing individual garlic cloves.
