Leave room to open the lid and remove the hot bread pan.

Care & maintenance

Unplug and cool before cleaning. Wash the pan and blade with a soft sponge and dry thoroughly; do not submerge the pan or put parts in a dishwasher.
For a stuck blade, the manual allows warm water in the pan for five to ten minutes; do not add soap to that soak.
