The handheld unit separates from the wand, and the wand separates from the floor nozzle, so you can choose the reach each job needs. Use the brush setting deliberately when moving between surfaces. Shark specifies the slower setting for bare floors and delicate rugs, and the faster setting for carpet; the lower setting also serves above-floor accessories. Afterward, the handheld section can rest on the lower-wand hook for storage. - Select the slower brush setting for bare floors, delicate rugs and above-floor accessories; do not assume the brush stops completely in that position.
Care & maintenance
- Empty the dust cup at its MAX line. Rinse the filters monthly and let them dry completely before refitting.
- Remove hair and fibers wrapped around the brushroll, and tap loose dirt from the filters between washes.
