A compact forged santoku with a fine stainless steel edge, full tang and three-rivet handle for everyday cutting-board preparation.
Slice mushrooms, dice a small onion or prepare fruit for a bowl with this compact PRO Series santoku. The 5-inch blade is worth considering when you prefer a shorter knife for modest quantities. It gives you a different working size from a large chef’s knife without adding several specialist tools to the drawer.
The fine edge suits clean slicing and chopping on a cutting board. Choose a board with room for both ingredients and the finished pieces, and keep the knife available as a separate tool from any blade used on raw meat. For large cabbages or broad roasts, a longer blade may be a more practical fit.
Useful for a handful of vegetables or a quick garnish when a long blade feels unnecessary.
Use the same knife to move through several small ingredients before cooking begins.
