Product description

A loose knife takes more care to store than an ordinary utensil. The Victorinox BladeSafe provides an individual enclosure, making it useful when a knife lives in a drawer or travels with other kitchen tools. The clear body also makes the enclosed blade visible without opening the guard.

Model 7.0898.9 is the size for blades up to 10 inches, also sold under the older 47303 number. Length is the first fit check, but the entire blade must sit inside and the clasps must close properly. A blade’s height and shape matter too, so the length limit is not a promise that every 10-inch knife will fit.
