Care & maintenance

Zojirushi recommends hand-washing removable parts with a soft sponge and dish soap, then rinsing and drying them. Parts and accessories are not dishwasher-safe.
Soften stuck-on rice with water rather than using abrasive cleaning methods.
Wipe the cooker body with a cloth and clean the inner lid as part of routine care.
Make sure the outside of the cooking pan is clean and dry before putting it back into the cooker.
